Our social pod wanted to make a piece exploring safety. What does safety usually look/feel like and how has that been altered by COVID? We wanted to represent the feeling of extreme safety in isolation and its contrast with the extreme danger of public spaces… with a bit of a mystical twist.
Designer’s Note
Our social pod wanted to create something that felt true to our experiences with isolation and loneliness while also offering a creative and thoughtful narrative. By interweaving fantasy concepts with natural imagery and visuals of day-to-day life, we felt that we were able to capture our emotional journeys through 2020.
