The professors chosen were from history (2), religion, government, education, sociology, and physics. Various expressed doubt over student competence and knowledge in terms of their ability to weigh in on college policy. However, others encouraged informed concern and action, with History Professor Ramon Ruiz affirming that \u201cStudent activism is the result of learning in the classroom and reading.
