They chanted things like, <\/i><i>\u201cNo IMF,\u201d \u201cGod-goddamnit, capitalism is killing the planet,\u201d \u201c\u201cWhose school? Our school!\u201d and, \u201cThe Smithies united, will never be defeated!\u201d At one point the president and the trustees in attendance did come outside to speak with protesters, but the consensus was still that the college could not rescind their invitation.
