Hall \u201868 becomes assistant director of admissions<\/p>\n<p><i>(October 16 is when it was reported in the Sophian)<\/i><\/p>\n<p><i>Under student pressure via the BSA demands, a Black graduate of Smith was appointed as a recruiter and the assistant director of admissions. It was hoped that Ms. Hall\u2019s leadership would help increase the number of Black student applicants and acceptances.
