This episode features the stories of three women ordained as Soto Zen priests. All three were adult converts to the tradition and mentored by the first generation of ordained Soto Zen women in America. After ordination, our interviewees went on to serve as the directors of Zen centers in Evanston, Illinois; St. Paul, Minnesota; and Beverly, Massachusetts.
