Betty Ripley, Smith ’38 (1915-2017)

Betty Ripley, Smith ’38, grew up next door to Eastman’s Camp Oahe in NH. Her father would barter services for her tuition. At age 97, Betty found her headband she wove on a loom at camp; It had been missing for 50 years. Betty was interviewed with Eastman’s nephew, Many Lightnings, in 2007 for the Nelson Historical Society by local activist John Cucchi.
