Bazooka Joe

Bazooka Joe #49 (he/him/his) was the first ever men’s derby player as the cofounder of PVRD with Pink Panzer. He played for 11 seasons, from 2006 to 2017, and never missed a bout. Within PVRD, he went by his human name, Jake.

Pink Panzer #88 (she/her/hers) was a cofounder of PVRD, with Bazooka Joe. She skated from 2006 to 2018, playing on every PVRD team at some point. She also began coaching PVRD’s junior program in 2013 and continues to this day.

Transit Authority (she/her/hers; ey/em/eirs) has been involved with derby in some way or another since she was about 13. Her name was inspired by the MBTA, as she loves transit, is transgender, and generally officiates rather than plays roller derby. She was part of PVRD’s junior derby program, left for some time, and returned as an adult.
