I arrived

This image shows a blackout poetry piece created on page 133 of Mary Shelley’s “Frankenstein”. The background is predominantly drawn over in green and pink marker. Select words and phrases have been left visible and circled in black marker, creating a new poetic message against the multicolored background. Apart from the poetic message, the majority of the page is obscured by a collaged image of a landscape, and, atop that, a large collaged image of a baby.
