Dan has been dabbling in illustration since he was a kid and has always toyed with the style, but only really began to dig into the art form seriously over the past couple of years. He was lucky enough to be introduced to the work of Barry Moser at a young age. The pen & ink drawings displayed here were inspired by Barry’s work, woodblock prints, and tattoo art.

Dan began working on this set of drawings before COVID-19 came along, but as with many things in life, the drawings were not a priority and he was unable to truly give them the attention he would have liked. Dan has found value in this time of self-isolation. By forcing him to limit other activities, it has provided him the space to focus on his drawing, allowing him to add several new illustrations to his collection.
