About the Project

The Northampton Street Art exhibition was launched by Jojo Renard, ’17, for her Museums Concentration Capstone Project. Being a studio artist herself, as well as a Northampton local, Renard has always appreciated the city’s lively public art scene. From sculptures to murals to graffiti, it seems like every corner you turn, there are dozens of works of art to be seen.

In order to recognize the vibrant and ever-expanding Northampton art scene, the Northampton Street Art exhibition encourages the public’s participation both by being mindful of the art that surrounds us as well as contributing their own street art discoveries to the exhibition.
