- The bottom of the vessel contains repeated inscriptions of poems that wrap around the body towards the lid
- “Ceramic poetry” has been found in its barest forms in the Neolithic Age
- Poetry became a common occurrence during the Tang Dynasty (618-907 CE) and often carry the emotions of the artist and compliment the existing visual design1
