Visible and Less Visible Identities

Duration:

15 minutes

Instructions:

On one post-it, write an element of your identity that is easily visible?  On another post-it, write an element of your identity that is less easily visible? Stick these to a wall in two separate areas. In the group, share one identity that you wrote for each category. Offer observations about what you heard. Stand up if you share one of the “less easily visible” identities with someone. Stand up if what some people shared as their “easily visible” identities actually were not so easily visible to you.
