Emma Fringuelli is a double major in Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies and English. As a reporter at The Daily Item and Marblehead Weekly News, she covered everything from FBI raids and Massachusetts politics to fishing derbies and the International Sand Sculpting Festival. At Smith, she is a photojournalist for The Sophian. As a journalist, she seeks to hold authority to account and give everyday people a voice. When she isn’t writing or taking photos, you can likely find her at the Russian Language Table or looking at old buildings around town.
