The Case of the Flooded Fields is the newest installment in the Inquiry, Inc. series of interactive illustrated storybooks. Developed for 2nd-5th graders, this story features a siphon experiment and an engineering design challenge. In the story, soccer player Lee finds their practice field flooded right before a big championship game. The open-ended conclusion challenges students to ask questions, brainstorm solutions, and send their design ideas to Inquiry, Inc to help solve the urgent problem of too much water.
