1 c. oleo
2 egg yolks
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. lemon juice
3/4 tsp. vanilla
3/4 tsp. almond [extract?]
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
1 (4 oz) pkg whole almonds, toasted
Cream oleo & sugar, add egg yolks, flavorings, dry ingredients.
Form into 1 inch balls, place on ungreased cookie sheets 2 inches apart.
Press almond into each cookie.
Bake 15-20 mins at 300°, cool 5 mins.
