Date and Nut Bread

Transcription

1/2 c. dates

3/4 c. hot water

1 tbsp. butter

3/4 c. sugar

Put together & cool.

Then add

Yolk of 1 egg

1/2 c. nut meats

1 3/4 c. flour

1 tsp. [baking] soda

1/2 tsp. salt

Stiffly beaten egg white

Bake in oven – start at 250° and increase heat to 350°

Cook about 1 hour
