2 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. water
1/2 c. dark Karo syrup
Boil until brittle in water.
Pour into 2 beaten egg whites with pinch of salt.
Beat until it will just pout into pan.
When beating add 1 teaspoon vanilla, scant cup of nuts & raisings cut or chopped.
9 in square pan – 1 inch thick
