Waffles

1 1/2 c. flour

3 t. baking powder

1/2 t. salt

2 t. sugar

1 c. milk

2 egg yolks, beaten

2 egg whites, beaten

3 to 4 t. melted butter

Sift dry ingredients, add milk, egg yolks, butter.

Fold in egg whites.

Makes 8 to 12 waffles.

Use sour milk & add 1/4 t. [baking] soda.

Use sour cream & add 1/4 t. [baking] soda – omit butter.
