Ruby’s First WordPress Post

Hi all! My name is Ruby and I am a Junior sociology major and archives concentrator. I love to cook, take walks, and I am learning how to tattoo.

My plan for my project is to create an interactive site that pulls from building records and census data (and maybe more) of a city block (or perhaps a few) to create a visual representation of gentrification in Oakland.

Hi ?

Hi! I’m Eavan and I’m a senior studying Art History and Classics. I think my project will be about discovering what I can about the everyday lives of the students at Smith that unfortunately died during the very haunted 1920s… Spooky! But hopefully not <3

Hello! I’m Emma (she/her) and I’m a world literatures and Spanish double major. I live in Sessions House and I’m from Philadelphia, PA. I’m currently being pulled in two different directions for my project. I will either do something about queer people in country music or women’s “social uniforms” using Smith’s historic clothing collection.

Lily Stowe-Alekman Introduction

My name is Lily (she/her/hers) and I am a graduating senior. I am a history major, Study of Women and Gender minor, and Archives Concentrator.

think my project could possibly be about how Smithies have felt about life at Smith overtime. I am looking at a student publication, Campus Cat in the archives at the moment.
