Saloua Raouda Choucair was raised in Lebanon by a strong and educated single mother and began interacting with art as a young adult. She discovered her passion for abstraction while abroad in Paris, and used her education in physics and mathematics to inspire the shapes that she created with. Painting through the war in Lebanon she transitioned to sculpture in her later years and created interactive pieces with many meanings, always hoping that her art would be made public so it could be shared with the world and provoke deep thinking.
