This project examines the lives of a family beginning with Jean Charpentier I in 1464 and ending with the Rongnion (Runyon) family, who passed away in 1737 in Piscataway, New Jersey, United States. Focusing heavily on the area and community surrounding the family, each individual tells a story about the time period and location in which they lived. The goal of this project is to create a timeline documenting methods of medieval genealogy, family history, and the history of the surrounding areas.
