Reina Makimura (she/her)
Reina Makimura is a sophomore with no career plan and a lot of big dreams. Mostly about getting enough sleep at night. Back in her hometown in New Jersey, she has two dogs and a lot of plants. Her favorite word is “juxtaposition,” and she uses it at least three times in every essay she writes. Working on The Amplifier has been an amazing and time consuming experience, and she’s enjoyed every meeting for it.
