Come Let’s Away
Director’s Note
We wanted to explore elements of this moment through carefully chosen moments from Shakespeare. When Miranda in The Tempest tells Prospero, “I have suffered with those that I saw suffer,” we thought of the pain and suffering of this time. And when Lear tells Cordelia “We two together will sing like birds i’ the cage,” we thought of the beauty and stillness some have found. Acting, editing, sound design, and directing all came together to make form for “Come Let’s Away.”
