A course on the Middle East is added to the History Department
In a new courses listing in the Sophian in April for the 1958-59 school year, it is announced that a course titled The Modern Middle East, will be added to the History Department under the instruction of Miss Garsoian. The course would focus on “the survival of traditional Muslim concepts and institutions.”
