More recognition of black voters in Alabama

An Amherst senior who spent six weeks in Alabama doing political investigations described the changes in the political climate in the Southern state. He affirmed that, after the registration crisis and act of 1965 and the doubled number of black votes, the black voting block was being given more attention by white citizens and politicians alike.
