Faculty-student discussions proposed on liberal themes

Smith faculty members already meeting for Friday lunch discussions on liberal and activist topics wanted to invite students to participate. These faculty members hoped to provide a space for those interested in world issues such as Vietnam, civil rights, and problems in India to interact and possibly organize.
