Smith weekly vigil for Vietnam

Every Wednesday, students and faculty members stood outside Neilson Library for a half-hour silent vigil in protest of the situation in Vietnam. At the time of the article, around 30 participants gathered each week. After the vigil, students and faculty gathered for an informal discussion on topics related to Vietnam. Many also participated in the Sunday vigil in Northampton, which averaged 100 participants.
