College releases an anonymous note investigation policy

In response to the five hate notes in Wesley House and the hate notes that had been received earlier in the semester, Smith College released guidelines for investigating such notes in the future. In each case, the College was to launch an investigation, inform residents of the house the note was received in, continue with the investigation even if the receiver of the notes filed a separate complaint, and take disciplinary action against any perpetrators that were found (“Such notes are considered grounds for suspension or expulsion.”)

The full set of guidelines can be found here.
