Itzkoff’s withdrawal letter published in the Sophian
The December 8th edition of the Sophian included Professor Seymour Itzkoff’s letter of withdrawal from the forum in its opinion page. In the letter, Itzkoff gave examples of how he had tried to work with the Committee on Community Policy (CCP), and how the criteria he gave them for the forum had been disregarded. He ends his letter with the hope that “nonpoliticized meetings for the benefit of Smith College students and community might become possible in the future.”
