A postcard, sketch, and note from a visit MacIver took to a blue mosque. I haven’t yet been able to learn where exactly this mosque was, but I believe she came across it during her travels in Europe in the 1960s. It makes sense that such an airy, cool toned, magnificent building would appeal to MacIver’s sense of space and color, and her notes offer a wonderful sense of the way she described spaces she hoped to paint.
