Students (and sometimes faculty) in the Smith College School for Social Work held senior skit night at the end of each summer for most of the 100 years of the school’s existence. This was performed in 1999. To see more of the skits that were recorded, please visit Smith College Special Collections, specialcollections@smith.edu.

Dr. Jerry Sachs, a member of the resident faculty, and Fred Newdom published a book in 1999 on Activism and Clinical Work. This Smith College School for Social Work 1999 skit addresses the false dichotomy between practice and policy in a humorous way.
