Below you will find the first Alumnae Association Newsletter after Florence Day’s death. The whole issue is devoted to a tribute to the former dean by Annette Garrett. Though they had very opposite leadership styles, they had become fast friends and close colleagues after Day assumed the deanship in 1942 (Garrett had become Associate Dean in 1935 when Bertha Capen Reynolds became Associate Dean in charge of Advanced Courses).
