Integration debate continues in Sophian editorials

In a Sophian editorial, a black student questioned the lack of black voices in the integration debate and assured readers that “We are not appealing for sympathy or action” but that “we are going to make you pay heavily” and “you are going to be frustrated too; just as we are frustrated.” In the following Sophian issue on October 10th, three additional editorials touched upon integration and race issues in the nation and the possible responses on Smith’s campus.
