Vietnam lecture and workshop series to inform students
As a result of student ignorance around the factual questions of the Vietnam conflict revealed in a poll, the Student Lecture Committee at Smith decided to sponsor four forums and discussions on Vietnam. The first was held on February 16th on Vietnam’s history and culture; the second, March 2nd, on “Viet Nam politics and governments covering the Geneva Agreements”; the third, April 6th, on “The United States in Viet Nam”; and the fourth, April 20th, on “Alternatives for America.” Workshops to discuss the selected bibliography were also planned for this period, from February 23rd to April 27th.
