Black Authors Seminar
In the fall of 1968, the 22 students of the government 300a class met once a week to discuss black literature, in order to expose them to both black authors and the black experience. The reading list included such authors as Richard Wright, James Baldwin, W.E.B. DuBois, Ralph Ellison, and Malcolm X.
