$30,000 fund set aside to diversify curriculum

In accordance with the Smith Design, $30,000 was set aside to diversify Smith’s curriculum. The money was allocated from President Dunn and the Dean’s discretionary funds for two years so that faculty members could use it to incorporate the study of cultures other than Western Europe and white America into their courses or to create new courses entirely.
