Vandal writes letter to the media
Someone claiming to be from a group called Citizens United in the Healing of Racism took responsibility for the acts of vandalism at Professor Seymour Itzkoff’s office and house. The self-declared perpetrator sent a single-page letter to different media outlets with a statement denouncing Itzkoff. In the letter, the writer said that “no one [sic] of us can afford to let institutionally sanctioned hatred go unchallenged” and framed the vandalism as “one moment of rebuttal” against people who propagate a system that oppresses “the poor, people of color, lesbians and gays, and all women.”
