Homophobic message in Gardiner House

A first-year resident of Gardiner House returned from the bathroom to discover that a threatening anti-gay message had been written on her room’s dry erase board. Public Safety was called in to investigate, and both the house’s Residence Life staff and the other people involved expressed the belief that the perpetrator could potentially be a member of Gardiner House.

The full Sophian article on the messages can be found here.

The Smith College timeline of these events can be found here (1, 2).
