Students form a group to actively address campus issues
In response to the Anne Spurzem letter and the anonymous hate note, students created a (Facebook) group called “Respect Existence or Expect Resistance.” Even more than sharing information and resources, these students set out to plan, organize, and take action to change the campus environment. To do this, they used various methods, including marches, silent protests, workshops, and an open letter to the Smith community.
