Student in Wesley House receives five racist hate notes in four-week period
A student in Wesley House received five notes with racial slurs and suggestions that she move out of the house. The notes were all received within a four-week period, slipped anonymously under the student’s door. According to Wambui Mwangi, member of Concerned Students of All Colors, the fact that the notes kept coming “is making everybody nervous.” The administration stressed that they were already working against racism on campus, but acknowledged that it might be necessary to employ additional strategies.
The full Sophian article on the notes can be found here (1, 5).
