2 cups milk scalded
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs
1/4 teas. salt
1/4 teas. nutmeg
Beat eggs with fork until yolk & whites are blended
Add sugar, salt, flavoring & nutmeg – mix thoroughly
Add milk gradually stirring constantly
Pour into buttered molds, set in pan of warm water
Bake in oven (375°) 30-40 min or until an inserted knife comes out clean
