The Sophian reprinted an article on the Young Democrat Clubs of America (YDCA) convention that outlined the issues discussed and the resolutions passed. The YDCA backed away from condemning the extremist right and the Southern delegations registered opposition “in part” to support of the federal civil rights bill.
