Administrators send letter on forums for discussing diversity
Director of Institutional Diversity Brenda Allen and Dean of the College Maureen Mahoney sent a letter to the Smith community evaluating the forums on diversity that had already taken place that spring and discussing next steps. They announced dates for the remaining luncheons on race that had started March 29th, noted the final Campus Climate Working Group meeting of the month, and also mentioned house teas on diversity that had already taken place or were scheduled to happen. Allen and Mahoney called diversity a “high priority” for Smith.
