White student attends campus party in blackface
A Smith student and her male friend showed up to a party in blackface and Afro wigs. The couple had chosen to dress as the singer Whitney Houston and her husband Bobby Brown for the “Celebrity Rehab” party. They were quickly called out on their costumes, causing the student to wash off her makeup and leave the party with her guest. She later apologized for what had happened.
