I would recommend definitely recommend this book to First Year students! The story was very heartwarming and features a situation that I think a lot of people will be able to sympathize with. The drawings are also adorable and add a lot to the story! The style is adorable, and the text is placed well with the drawings to make each page interesting to look at.

This book was easy to read due to using grammatical structures we learn about in JP 110. The vocabulary is also very beginner friendly. The plot was a bit fast paced for my liking, but it gets across what’s needed to with the page limit. I wish we knew why Hope and Destiny were super heroes and more about them, but it is what it is, and its enjoyable nonetheless. I’d recommend this book to first semester JP students.
