この本は面白くて絵はとてもかわいいです。カタカナがたくさんがあるのでいい練習です。でも、とてもやさしです。
I recommend this book to Japanese 110 students. It is very simple but with a lot of katakana, so it can be a great practice. It includes a lot of vocabulary and grammar that 110 students have just learned. The plot is very common and easy to follow. The pictures in the book are cute.
この本はおもしろくてきれいが、ちょっとつまらないです。私はくまさんとハマスタさんがすきです。
I would recommend this to Japanese 110 students. It’s a level zero story. I enjoyed the artwork even though it can be a little confusing. The more you read the story, the more you understand it better.

I would recommend this book to all Japanese 110 students. The drawing is at such a high aesthetic level. The plot is heartbreaking but straightforward. After reading the book, the readers will begin to think about their relationships with their pets. There are some new words, but the pictures next to them help to explain the meanings a lot.
I would definitely recommend this book to other people wanting to find on-level readings! The drawings in this book were really beautiful, and I loved the small details that the author included like the captions on the Polaroid pictures and how Hoshiko’s name was written in the stars! I hope to see more books like this!
この本はとても面白くて、私は大好きです。ココさんは十二さいです。友達がいません。でも、ある日星子さんにあいましだ。星子さんは天にすんでいますでいます。ココさんと星子さんとは友達です。
This story is about a friendship between a girl called Koko and a boy called Hoshi who lives in the sky. They are both very lonely and when they meet, they quickly become best friends. Hoshi has very low self-esteem and thinks that he is not smart nor kind enough. He is scared to go back to his family. But Koko helps him to see that his family does care about him and he is not as bad as he thought. Finally, Hoshi goes back to the sky and Koko waits every night to wait for hearing him back.
I would definitely recommend this book to other students. The manga is very precisely and vividly down by our senpai. And there is a variety of sentence structures and word choices that are covered by what we learned so far as JPN 110 students. The plotline has up and down which also makes the reading enjoyable. I like how the ending of Koko waiting for Hoshi echos the scene in the beginning. This book is very imaginative and inspiring.

This book talks a lot about 二口女 as a very typical Japanese ghost. It presents her in a very cute and interesting way. I love the pictures in the book. They kind of connects 二口女 to the pop culture. ( like how she use hair to grab beverages haha). This idea is brilliant and I learn a lot about Japanese culture!

The format was so cool. It was two books in one. There were two stories, one about a lonely cat and one about a lonely bird. The bird’s story starts “front to back” and the cat’s story starts “back to front” (to American readers). Then their stories meet up in the middle of the book when the characters meet. It’s such a cool idea.
I highly recommend this book. Not only was it a cool idea, but I appreciated that the vocab and grammar was all stuff we had covered. I don’t think I had to look anything up, and I understood the story. This is one of my favorite Tadoku books by students I have read. Also, it looks like the drawings are hand drawn, and that’s really cool.
この本は、日本で旅行の生活について書きました。本お中で、かわいい日本のちずがありまし。ふじあんと東京を紹介しました。日本の食べ物とカラオケも描きました。日本について、たくさんしゅうかんを勉強しました。
This book is easy to read, but I learned a lot about Japan from it, including the location of each famous cities like Tokyo, Hokaido, Honshu, etc. On each page, there is a drawing as a background, which also makes the book interesting to read.
京子のはつこいはラーブの本です。ときどき新しいかんじがあります。でも、ふりがながあります。
I recommend this book because it was a nice story. It made me want to continue reading and find out what happens.

It was a book about a giraffe who was looking for friends. It took me awhile to get through. The vocab was mostly genki vocab, which was nice. So I didn’t have to look up a bunch of words.
I recommend this book. It was fun to read and not too hard.
