木村家の毎日結婚式

この本は日本の文化を話します。日本人は結婚式に行って、お金を持ってきます。中国人もお金を持ってきます。面白いですね！でも、かんじはちょっと難しです。でも、きれいなえがあります。かんじをわかると思いました。

I think this book is interesting in that it talks about Japanese culture. In both China and Japan, people would bring money to marriage ceremonies. However, there are a lot of Kanjis in this book. The fact that I’m a Chinese speaker and there are pictures helps me in understanding it. However, I would only recommend this book to higher-level Japanese learners and 100-level learners who had previous exposure to Kanji

西町交番の良さん「助けて！」

 

この本はとてもおもしろいです。良さんはおまわりです。よくみんなさんはてつたいます。

I recommend this book. It is a story about a policeman in a town. The policeman often help a lot of residents to solve their problems. However, he himself once met a problem and needed help. It is a very interesting story. It also contains a lot vocabularies that we have learned in the previous eight units. Moreover, it contains some new words that we have not yet learned. But it is still not hard to understand, because there are many cute and nice images that can help us understand the content.

桜（さくら）

これはおもしろい本でした。私（わたし）は子（こ）どもの時（とき）Washington　DCで桜（さくら）を毎（まい）ねん見（み）ましたから。日本（にほん）のちいきがたくさんあります。ちがうのちいきで桜がちがうの時間（じかん）にさきます。

I would recommend this book to students who are finishing their first semester of Japanese. Reading this book is a good way to practice many of the kanji we learned. It was also interesting to learn about the regions of Japan and how that affects the cherry blossom trees. The illustrations were very pretty, so the book was fun to read.

日本に行きましょう

この本ほんは楽たのしいですよ！私は絵えが大好だいすきです。Getting to travel along with the author of the book is actually really interesting and the questions the author poses along the way keep you engaged.

I would highly recommend this book to other Japanese 110-111 students because it uses grammar that they would know, and it also uses kanji that they should have already learned. The drawings are very simple, neat, and nice to look at. I definitely like the use of simple phrases like いただきます as well.に

ウサギとカメ〜イソツプ物語より〜

この本はおもしろくてむずかしかないです。みんなさんはこのストーリー をしています。だから、たんごのがくしゅうをてつたいます。

I recommend this book, because it is very interesting and very easy to understand. This book is about a race between a rabbit and a tortoise.  I believe most of the students have heard this story before when they were young. Therefore, it is very easy to understand the plot. When you do not need to worry about the plot, you can pay more attention to the vocabs. Unlike other books, even if there are new words in this book, students can still understand, since they already know the story. It will be really helpful for students to learn more vocabularies.

桜

この本はおもしろいてしゃしんはきれいです。It makes me looking forward to watching Sakura next year. And it’s interesting to know that Sakura blossoms at different times because of the difference in location.

I recommend this book for First Year Japanese students. It’s easy to read and brings beautiful expectations for spring in cold winter.

りょうさんのクリスマス

本はおもしろかった。サンタさんはどろぼういました。りょうさんはどろぼうをつかまえました。クリスマスはよかったです。

I would recommend this book because it is not a difficult read but it is very interesting. If you like books about the holiday season and happy endings, you will enjoy this book! The illustrations are also really pretty and make the book more fun to read.

緑(みどり)の豚(ぶた)

この本(ほん)はすごくかわいかったです。びじつはとてもきれいでした。本(ほん)はもやすかったです。むずかしくなかったです。私(わたし)はこの本(ほん)をJPN110のがくせいにすすめます。

This book was extremely cute. The art was very pretty. The book was also easy to understand. It was not difficult at all.

I recommend this book to JPN 110 students.

西町交番の良さん「良さんのクリスマス」

この本はおもしろいです。本のしゃしんはとてもかわいいかった。ぜんぜんむずかしくなかったです。クリスマスはもうすぐです。ホットチョコレートをたくさん飲みます。

This book was very interesting. This book is basically about a police officer chasing down a Santa burglar(泥坊). The moral of the story is doing something good can lead to positive outcomes. The pictures in this book are so cute. It wasn’t hard to read at all. The pictures gives a lot of context to the story and will help readers clearly understand what each scene means. This book reminded me that Christmas is near and I cant wait to drink a lot of hot chocolate. I will definitely recommend this book to JP 110 audience.

今週こんしゅ、この本ほんをよみました。この本ほんはとてもおもしろくて、たくさん 写真しゃしん があります.  お正月 は 忙いそがしくて、てもおもしろいです.

This book talks about a lot of traditions in Japan’s new year. There are a lot of new words to learn! This book helps students to understand more about Japanese culture by watching a lot of pictures. We can know the content even we do not know about words because of pictures provided. Very interesting book for people to read.
