この本はとても面白いです。ストーリーがありませんが、インフォがたくさんありますから。私は寿司を作って食べるのが大好きです。だから、この本を読んで寿司の歴史と作り方をたくさん勉強しました。いろいろな魚の名前もたくさんあります。挿絵は可愛いです。いろいろな寿司の挿絵と写真があります。
I recommend this book. It talks a lot about the sushi culture. I learned all kinds of sushi and the correct way to eat and make sushi. I learned what 回転寿司 is. 新しい漢字があります。ちょっと難しですが、わかりました。挿絵は本当に助けましたから。
この本で、サラさんとサラさんのかぞくが大阪に行きました。そこでたくさんおいしい食べ物を食べて、大阪城を見ました。大阪から京都に行きました。京都においしいカフェラテを飲みました。スミス大学で日本語をべんきょうします、日本で日本語を話しますから。
In this book, Sara and her family went to Osaka. There, they ate lots of delicious food, and saw Osaka-jo.From Osaka, they went to Kyoto. In Kyoto, she drank a delicious Cafe Latte. She studies Japanese at Smith College, because she will speak Japanese in Japan.
This book was interesting to read. Since it is a personal story of a student, it was fun to see what she did in Osaka. The pictures were also nice, as they added to the authenticity of this book. There were a few words and kanji that I didn’t know at first, but it was easy enough to approximate the meaning from context and pictures. For this reason, and since it was interesting and informative, I would recommend this book to other first year students.
This book introduces history of sushi, history of sushi and simple ways to make sushi. とても面白いです！I learned how to eat sushi in a correct way. Although I eat a lot of sushi and love sushi, I didn’t know how to eat it appropriately until I read this book.
Vocabulary and sentence structures are a little difficult for Japanese beginners, because it contains a lot of kanji (while it is easy to understand for Chinese speakers). But I think 日本語一年生 can understand the content with these cute pictures.
この本が大好きです。長いそうだから、読む前に、難しいと思いましたが、実はとても面白くて、読みやすいです。たくさんかわいい絵があるから、ちょっと読みにくい時に、ほとんどのストーリーが分かると思います。この本は色々な物の名前を説明します。食べ物だけでなくて、生き物や体の名前も説明します。話はとても面白いです。例えば、「かぼちゃ」は日本までカンボジアから来ましたから、そして名前はかぼちゃになりました。日本語が上手になるために、言葉の元を分かる必要があると思います。だから、この本をよんでください！
I definitely recommend this book. It is filled with extremely interesting explanations of names of things in Japanese, and I think it is helpful to understand the origins of words in any language that you speak. I have always been interested in word origin and etymology and didn’t know anything about Japanese etymology, so it answers a lot of questions. The book is quite long, but it’s something you can come back to again and again and learn new things. Please read this book!

この本あはとても面白かったです。本のテームは着物です。着物の歴史、写真、指令があります。たくさん綺麗な写真がありますよ！This book is about kimonos — how they’ve evolved throughout Japanese history, the occasions on which they’re worn, and how to put them on. It also has lots of pretty pictures of kimonos!
I’d recommend this book for any first year Japanese student who wants to know more about Japanese culture. I’d also recommend it for the pretty pictures! Most of the language is easy to understand, and you get to learn about different eras of Japanese history too!
私は最近歴史を生きた女性たちという本を読みました。私はまだ終わっていませんがすぐ全文読みたいです。この本は色々な有名な女の人のバイオグラフィーがあります。例えば、オードリー・ヘップバーンや相馬黒光やヘレン・ケラーのバイオグラフィーがあります。この本はたくさん漢字を使うから、難しと思いますがたくさん写真もあるから、私は読めると思います。この本はたくさん女の人の話があるから、とても面白いと思います。
This book is filled with biographies of various women. It is a little hard to understand because it uses a lot of kanji, but because there are many pictures, I was able to understand most of it. It is a very interesting book, especially if you are interested in learning about women who have had an impact on their societies and world.
この漫画の主人公は、本当に生きたイザベラ・バードという旅行家で、私は聞いたことごなかったので、面白かったです。漫画を通してこの勇気のある女性の話を人々に知らせるのはとてもいいことだと思います。それに、バードさんと通訳者の伊藤（いとう）さんの関係がかわいかったです。絵もあるから私は大体わかったと思いますが、単語が少し難しいので、特に日本語４年生たちにすすめたいです。
I was quite excited to find out that this manga is (probably loosely) based on the life of a real nineteenth century English explorer, Isabella Bird. It tells the story of her travels across Japan with her interpreter Itou. I think there is a strong theme of respecting cultural differences.
I understood most of the book thanks to the pictures, but the vocabulary is pretty tough and there were definitely some jokes that I didn’t understand. Even so, I think it would be a fun read for my fourth year classmates.
この本は旧石器・縄文・弥生時代から南北朝・室町時代まで歴史の大切な事件について話します。30,000年以上前に、日本の土地に住んだ人間がいて、その時から日本の歴史ははじめたので、日本は長い歴史でと知られています。昔、たくさんの人は王様になりたかったから、多い戦争はおこるました。邪馬台国の時から、日本は昔の中国と接触がありました。それで、色々な日本の建物とか文字とか宗教など中国のと似ています。この本は分からない漢字があるので、ちょっと読みにくいですが、面白い本です。
This book introduces the early Japanese history and I did find the book a bit little hard to understand because there are lots of Kanji and names. I think the book would be easier to read if you already know some Japanese history. I like this book because this is the first Japanese history book I read.
富士山行きましょう！富士山で、登ったり、温泉に入ったり、綺麗な湖を見たりします。また、富士山の誕生日があります。この本はたくさん助言がありますから、とても便利です。本の中で環境保護がありますので、この本が好きです。この本はたくさん漢字から、ちょっと難しです。しかし、漢字は所の名前ですので、重要なじゃないです。この本を読んでください。富士山に登ったことがありません。でも、留学の時、富士山に登りたい！
Let’s go to Mount Fuji! At Mount Fuji, you can hike, go to hot springs, look at the beautiful lakes, and other activities similar to these. It also talks about Mount Fuji’s “birthday.” This book also offers a lot of advice, which is extremely convenient if you plan to go there. In the book, it also talks about environmental protection, which is why I really like it. The book has a lot of kanji, so it can be a little bit difficult to read. But the kanji is mostly the names of places, so it doesn’t really affect the meaning of the book. I highly recommend this book. I have never hiked Mount Fuji, but I would like to when I’m studying abroad!
古事記は日本の昔から話です。神話なので、たくさん神様がいます。古い話ですから、とても変ですが、とても面白いと思います。この本の中で、「日本の国の始まり」や「死の国」や他の話があります。天照は私の一番好きな古事記のキャラクターです。天照は太陽の神様だけでなく、天照は日本の神話によって日本の天皇の祖先で信じられています。時々古事記は他の国の神話みたいです。時々古事記は他の国の神話と比べて、とても違います。そして、古事記はとても面白いです。日本と他の国の神話やれきしや文化が好きな人達は古事記をよんだほうがいいと思います。
I recommend this book to anyone who likes learning about the mythology, history and culture of Japan or any other countries. It is not very hard to read, even though sometimes the stories can be very strange because they are so old, so that is a little confusing. However, the pictures help a lot and the stories are really interesting. Please read this excerpted version of the Kojiki to learn more about the mythology of Japan!
