とてもいい本でしたよ！ちしきとれきしがたくさんあって、面白かったです。いろいろなちいきがあって、きれいな絵もありました。私はこの本を読んでよかったです。れきしが大好きで、ちょっと難しくて、楽しかったです。
I would definitely recommend this book! The explanations were very interesting, and the only difficult bits were the words/kanji for specific parts of the sushi, and how to go about making it. However, it was plenty challenging! I had a lot of fun reading it, and I think others would enjoy it too.
この本は面白かったです。私はとても感動しました。ハチは先生いちばんのともだちでした、でも先生は病気だった、死にました。いえにかえりません。ハチは10年間毎日駅に行って、先生に待ちました。私はハチは寂しかったと思います。
This book is very interesting. It really touches my heart. Hachi is the dog of a college professor, they walk to the train station together everyday, and Hachi wait for the professor at the station in late afternoon to take the professor home. However, the professor died one day, and never return home again. Hachi didn’t know about it, so for ten years, he goes to the train station and wait for the professor’s return. I think Hachi is very very lonely.
I recommend this book to first year Japanese students because it contains a lot of grammar we’ve learned, and I think it will be a great review. Also, there are some new vocabularies that we can learn.
富士山はとても有名です。日本で一番高くて、綺麗です。だから、日本人と外国人が大好きです。この本は富士山の誕生と富士山の近くの観光スポットを紹介しました。この本を読んて、日本に富士山を見たい。紅ふじの湯て温泉に入ったり、朝霧高原て牛を見たり、大日岳て朝日も見たりします。日本を行きたいのが、この本をぜひ読みます。
The book has many kanji and new vocabularies. It is not hard to understand because of the illustrations. The book talks about how the Fuji Mountain formed, why people loves Fuji Mountain and the plan to climb the mountain. If you want to go to Japan and visit Fuji Mountain, I highly recommend this book.
木村家の毎日系列は「行ってきます」、「いただきます」、「一郎、学校で」、「ただいま」、「お正月」全部5冊です。面白いし、簡単だし、日本人のリビングも習います。例えば、みそ汁は右に置いて、ごはんは左に置きます。元旦の夜、おせち料理を食べます。そして、正月のとき、子供たちは、おじいさんとおばあさんからお年玉をもらいます。たくさんお金があります。嬉しそうです。日本の正月と中国の同じところがいっぱいです、それも面白いです。
木村家の毎日series have 5 books, they are all very interesting and easy to read, and you can learn a lot about Japanese people’s life. For example, Japanese people will put miso soup on the right side, and put rice on the left. On New Year’s Eve, they will have おせち料理. On the New Year’s Day, children will receive お年玉, similar to red bag with money inside. What’s also interesting to me is that Japanese New Year’s traditions have a lot in common with Chinese ones, reading the book reminds me of the Spring Festival.
この本は面白いかったと思います。文はちょっとみじかくて、かんたんで、ちょっと難しくなかったです。漢字と新しい単語があるので、楽しかったです。でも、悲しかったと思ういます。
For all that the sentences were simple and short, the story conveyed lots of emotion. The vocabulary was almost all familiar, and there wasn’t much kanji.The ending was kind of sad, but still enjoyable. I would certainly recommend others give it a try.
この本は楽しかったと思います。話しが面白かったと思います。私は早く読んで、わらいました。でも、文はとてもみじかくて、かんたんで、私は難しい文がほしいでした。
I would recommend this book. The kanji were very simple, and all of them had furigana, so there shouldn’t be any problems on that front. The story itself was light and funny. Give it a whirl!
この本はとても面白くて、楽しかったです。私は早く読んで、わらいましたので、この本を読んでよかったです。でも、文はとてもみじかくて、ふりがなの漢字がたくさんありませんから、むずかしくないです。
I enjoyed this book! The story way fun and lighthearted and funny, but the sentences were very short and simple. It wasn’t very difficult, but I almost didn’t notice how fast and easy it was since the problem facing our police officer was so comical. Give it a try!
とても悲しくて美しい本ですね！話にはかんどうして、面白くて、速く読みました。文がとても短くて、漢字があまりありません。本の絵はきれいです。とても簡単な本ですが、いい話だと思ういます。
This was a very simple, pretty, engaging story. The story and the sentences are easy to understand, while not becoming boring. There isn’t too much in the way of kanji, but there is plenty of dialogue, which makes practicing ‘to itteimasu’ and it’s variations easy. Give it a try!
このストーリーは ちょとかなしでした。このストーリーはことはクラゲと猿が何かなくしました。でも、いいストーリーを読みました。おもしろいでした。
I would recommend this story. Most of the kanji was easy to read. It was a bit sad because they lost something they can’t get back. It was interesting to read why both the jellyfish and the monkey lost that something and how it happened.

一緒に、すべての家族はおいしい食べ物を食べます。そして、子供たちが遊んで、大人の飲みます。
その後、家族は神社に行って、1月1日になります。
Not only is this book friendly to new readers of Japanese, it is also culturally educational. Why not experience a Japanese New Years’ celebration with the Kimura family? This book is very colorful and easy to interpret. I would recommend it to any beginner.
