舌切り雀

この話が大好きですが、終わりは早く来たんです。おばあさんは死にましたか？わかりません！読むがは楽しかったです。こんな子供の本を作りたいです。

I read this book with all of the furigana covered with a card, and only checked it for 箱 and 雀. Those kanjis were used so specifically, and followed with such clear illustrations, that I was able to make out their definitions without looking them up. There was also 洗濯のり, which I couldn’t understand, but I understood from the illustration and the furigana せんたくthat it was some material for laundry.

The story was very easy to follow, and there were a couple kanji from JPN 111 that I could recognize at this point. It’s pretty long, too, which means the story is a lot more developed and interesting. For that reason, I think it would be fun for students to tackle!

シンデレラ

この本は有名なストリーです。シンデレラは、子供の時お母さんが死んだ、お父さんは新しい彼女が探しました。でも、新しいお母さんとお姉さんはとてもいじわるでした。Once, with the help of おばあさん、Cinderella got the chance to go to the party and met the prince. The prince finally found Cinderella by one of the high heel shoes she left behind after 12 o’ clock. In the last, Cinderella lived a happy life with the prince.

I recommend this book to my classmates because it’s a well-known story and easy to understand. At the same time, it is interesting to read the story in Japanese, while there are not so many new unfamiliar words. So, it is pretty suitable for students to read.

京子さんは森に行きます

このほんの写真はとても綺麗です。たくさん猫でしょ。

本で猫は話しましたので、とても可愛いです。

漢字と文法は簡単です、いい本です。

I recommend this book to first year Japanese students.

The pictures are adorable, and I love that it’s written in a cat’s point of view.

The text isn’t too difficult but there’s plenty to read.

笠地蔵

とても暖かい話で、私は感動した。おばあさんとおじいさんはとても優しくて親切な人たちだし。いい人だので、いいことがあるんだね。

I encountered a lot of grammar points and vocabularies that I just learnt when I read this story. Also the pictures are really cute and the art style is dreamy. This story could heal. I highly recommend this book.

シンデレラ

シンデレラは有名な子供のストリーだから、私は子供の時　英語と中国語で読みました。ディズニーの映画も見ました。だから、ストリーはもう知りました。

シンデレラのストリーはもう知りましたけど、日本語でもう一度読むのが面白いです。この本の中で　新しい単語と漢字があるし、少し知らない文法もあるし、ちょっとむずかしです。でも、counterやshort formについていい練習だと思います。日本語一年生（春学期）と二年生におすすめです。

笑い話

笑い話の中で、五つ面白いストーリーがあります。いちばん好きなストーリーはうぐいすのストーリーです。うぐいすは春の鳥です。それから、みんなは早くうぐいすの声が聞きたいすで。本の中で、たくさんかんたんな会話があるので、いいれんしゅうです。新しいたんごがたくさんありますが、ストーリーはあまりむずかしくないです。

The book is really interesting through its context. Two stories are a little bit long, other three are very short. I think in this book, lots of new words can be memorized, such as Boshi (star) because the story repeats this key word lots of times

桜

この本は桜について書きました。桜は日本の南から北へ咲きます。おきなわの桜は一番早くです、暖かいから。ほっかいどうの桜は一番おそいです、さむいから。本の中で、きれいな桜のえがあります。たんごが簡単です。

I really recommend this book because it kind of gives readers an idea about different places in Japan, from the south to the east.  It also illustrates how Sakura is important to Japan, as people love Sakura and are waiting for this season.

大豆

この本は だいずについてかいました。日本のだいずはあ、アメリカやブラジルや中国からきます。だいずで 色々な食べ物を作ります。本の中でとうふとみそとsひょうゆとなっとうがあります。日本の有名なおいしいりょうりです。あついゆどうふと冷やっこが大好きです。本の中で、たくさんえがあるので、かんたんです。

The book is very interesting and easy to read. There are lots of pictures of Japanese traditional food which is made of Bean. The pictures show how tofu and some Japanese food like Nado and Miso are made. It is a nice book to learn about Japanese food culture. I really recommend it

ハチの話

この本はハチと先生について書きました。ハチは先生と住んています。毎日駅に行って、先生と一緒に家に帰ります。でも、先生は病気だった、病院にいった、しにました。ハチは何も知りません。だかた、10年、毎日駅に行って、先生に待ちました。むずかしいたんごがないので、ストーリは簡単です。

The story is very moving. Hachi is a dog of a college professor. They live together. After the professor died, Hachi still believes he was still alive and continued the daily routine for 10 years. The story is very moving and worth reading.

おんがくが好きですかーーラーさんの一週間

この本は　ラーさんのせいかつについて　書きました。ラーさんは友だちがありませんが、暇じゃないです。毎日音がきを聞きますから。本の中で、たくさんえがあります。とてもかわいいです。ちょっとむずかしいたんごがありますが、ストーリはかんたんです。

The book has lots of Katakana, most of which are the name of songs and singers. So I think it is good path to practice Katakana through reading.  The drawings are really interesting and creative.  Really recommend this book. ロイ-音楽が好きです
